Collins World Atlas £7.99 Delivered (Was £30) at Play.com:

Mine just arrived - great quality book and a top bargain - it probably cost them about a fiver just to deliver it! (it's very big and heavy). Great for helping kids brush up on their geography, or for adults who want to know the answer to the question where is Abkhazia? ( in the north-western corner of Georgia with the Black Sea to the south-west and the Caucasus mountains and Russia to the north-east)

If you have not tried it look at the free earth program from Google.
http://earth.google.com/
It shows the earth on a globe with countries, boundaries, roads, building, terrain including under the sea.
Easy to use, very good for kids.
Amazing satellite images and maps.
Not the same as an atlas I know but worth a look.
Microsoft have something like this mappoint due in August.Seth.0 -
