Hire a car for next weekend.

I need to hire a car for next thursday to monday from Scotland to go down to England for the weekend. Looking for the best price from a reliable company. Lowest I got was for £ 108 for ford focus from budget anyone help out as I was wondering if there would be an deals anywhere.

Do you definately need it on the Thursday? Enterprise do a weekend deal of £11.99 a day, with bookings starting on the Friday (anytime). They will even reduce this at late notice if the size of car you ask for is low on bookings that weekend. The weekend before last I did a trip between Glasgow and Edinburgh keeping a Fiesta from 4pm on Friday to 4pm on the Monday and it only cost £36 total. If you want to drop it off at another location, there is a £30 surcharge.

Thanks a lot your reply was very helpful. Enterprises deal is very good, one thing I noticed was there was a big price differance between the branches ( although they were near ) so it is best to price up at a few branches. Thanks to you we got the car hire a lot cheaper plus nearer for collecting the car. :beer:

Take a look at Alamo as well they have good rates.

Just be warned that they placed a £150 thingy against my credit card from collecting to returning the car. It was recredited within two days though.
