Good News

Hi y'all. How you doing?

Good news - have found a new job. And the best news is that it will be a £4K payrise, and then another £1K rise in December - so thats another £210 a month. Whooo!!!

I hopefully leave my current position in 2 weeks, eeeek, thats scary, but im scared & excited at the same time & the money will definately help - it means no more two jobs (although i'll keep up doing a few hours until November as i will still need the money).

Havent spent any money so far this week. I am out tonight for my 2nd job's summer party, free alcohol, although I expect I will spend some money (taxi home, food or something), then I have tomorrow off, yaaay!!

It feels a bit surreal that im leaving, have been here 2 1/2 years, and if the new job doesnt work out I can always get something else.

Thats definately the easiest £5K ive ever made ;0)

    Fantastic.

So does this move your debt free date forward? :D

Well done. I'm still job hunting. My current job finishes tomorrow, but I've got several applications on the go. Just waiting for agents to get back to me for interviews...

Shall keep my fingers crossed for you Squiffy. :0)

It probably wont bring my DFD forward - to be honest, I think im just going to leave it at November & enjoy a bit of the money - work less hours at my second job, and regain my life :0)

Got my holiday to look forward to in September, so that marks the half way point.

Let us know how you get on with the i/vs Squiffy.

    :j Well done!

The best bit about a new job is the first month's pay - I got mine today. £386 extra (And I didn't even work a full month) Woo hoo!
