Financial declutter

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this post, so feel free to move it.

I've been following the simplyfing life post on the OS Board and it led to a financial sorting and decluttering.

I've set up monthly standing orders into my grandchildren's child trust funds.
I've cleared out last January's receipts and only kept ones that I may need.
I've moved some money around to sort out my funeral finances. (cheery :D )
I've closed one bank account that I don't use any more.
I've put all my bank details into a small book along with details of where house deeds, will etc is kept.

All of the above is due to being an MSE member and following advice from different boards so thanks to everyone for their helpful posts.
