Sterling - No. They're un branded bikes at absolute rock bottom price. For anything more than the occasional road ride, or for a child as a tester bike I'd not touch them with a barge pole (but I cycle a round trip to work and back of 30 miles every day). If you're after a branded (even a value brand such as Claud Butler). I'd recommend thinking about what you're looking for from it, then visiting your local bike shop for some advice?
Last years models can normally be for 20-30% off, so its worth keeping an eye out for them.
I've not purchased a bike off them, but have bought items off all three off the other sites. No problems with any of them.
Actually the one problem I did have was with my bike itself which I bought from a website which was based out of a warehouse in Brixton. Good price, but VERY harsh on a warantee repair (IE refused it). It was a £50 repair in the end, but as they're 90% internet business, 1 p'd off customer is not a problem (for a local bike shop, your customer base can be much more affected by word of mouth, good or bad...). In summary, I'd probably recommend a local place as they'll probably give you better customer service in the event of a problem.

    thanks for the advice.
I cycle about 5 times a week for an hour or so each day so my bike is in regular use and goes through its paces. I do thrash it around on and off kerbs. bike at the moment is about 4 years old and has served its purpose. just got it punctured (quite bad) so may need a new tyre. I was thinking of just replacing the bike as the prices are quite good while getting puncture repaired.
