Feeding baby HM bread?

PS. As a self-confessed Marmite addict myself, I wouldn't wish to deny Little Miss B her breakfast treat, as it contains more good stuff than bad and should train her pallette away from a "sweet tooth", which would probably cause even more problems. It just might be worthwhile checking the label, finding out what the RDA is for an 18-month-old is, doing a few sums and - if necessary - adjusting the amount.
Like you say, it's such a small quantity I figure the good stuff's better for her than the small amount of salt is bad for her - if that makes sense.
And by the time she's pulled the bread to pieces, pretended to feed it to her dolly / teddy bear / mummy, and put it to her lips and said "Mmm Yum Yum", the amount that actually makes into her mouth is definitely minimal!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -
The first thing I noticed when I started making my own bread was how much less salty it tasted than shop-bought. If you are going to give her bread at all, definitely give her home-made over shop-bought.I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!0

My son is 8 months this week and today we ran out of shop bought bread(which we were buying just for him) so gave him homemade and he loved it, he is currently only eating finger foods and turns his nose up at anything else:o0

surely a loaf of HM bread has less salt in then shop bread - in a loaf of warburtons salt is 4th on the list of ingredients. also i bet you dont add E481,E472e or calcium proprionate (inhibits mould apparently) to your HM bread mix.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
