Sat Nav / Price Match Question

I am looking to buy the TomTom Go 720 and have seen the cheapest place for it is Dixons on the http://www.find-satnav-deals.com/ website.

It is priced up as £174.99 on the Dixons website using a discount voucher.

If I were to go into PC World or Currys would they price match it and even maybe knock 10% off of thay?

I would have the following print out with me:

PCWorld would match the price plus 10% of the price difference, i guess about £3 or 4 pounds, not 10% of the price. Why not go for the 720T(traffic version) fom Halfords for £200 using a voucher code page below or if you search for tomtom 720 at halfords on google.

I used to have the go 700. Just got the NAVMAN S90i, which gets good write ups and being a business userit tracks the miles you do, so creating accurate claiming. It has traffic and the camera, so it can navigate to any location you choose to snap....The Blutooth is really good too...

I'm looking to buy a sat nav but this one is a bit above my budget. Can anyone recommend a decent one around or under the 100 pound mark? I only need it for UK driving. Thanks.

Yes your right, just found the 'price guarantee' here
I remember seeing posts on Hotukdeals where people had got PCworld to match Dixons.
I know Comet were price matching when Argos were doing the Tomtom 720 cheap.

pcworld and dixons are the same group so thats a bit naughty imho

Thats how I got my 720T... they will metch currys and can be quite good as where I stay the 2 shops are next door to each other and I have went to currys and seen manager specials then go next door and get them to pricematch and give me the 10% extra.....
