How much have you spent today? 29/6

Options
Victory!

Today the process of getting to work from home has been spending opportunity free!

Remembered to make packed lunch!
Didn't go to shop for water, newspaper or junk etc.

However i'm off for a few beers later but at an establishment with extremely reasonable drink prices, so it looks like i'm not gonna get through the day with my cash intact.
I like to save the money...

Well, today spent £3 on bacon and sausage sarnie breakfast.

And also £10.55 on Starbucks coffee and sandwiches for myself and colleague from another office. He is a very good friend, who won't be able to make my leaving drinks tomorrow.

I'm expecting to pay around £50+ for my leaving drinks tomorrow lunchtime. I can't really avoid it - it's the 'done thing', and IMHO it pays to stay in with people as I never know who I'll end up working with in the future.

£2 on Red Bulls and £6 on groceries for dinner for two - a very good day for me. I walk to work and work home for lunch each day, a luxury few people who live in London enjoy. Not only does this save money on transport costs, but it gives me so much of my life back compared with when I had a 4 hour round trip to work each day (not to mention the environmental cost).
