Redundancy Pay

Hello, was just wondering if anyone could help.

I was made redundant (along with all other staff) on 9th January. I have today been given the breakdown of my redundancy package but there is no mention of how long it will be before this is paid.

The company are insolvent so the redundancy will be paid by the Government.

Does anyone know roughly how long it will be before I receive my redundancy pay?

Hi,

My dad went through 2 years ago and had to put in a claim to the DTI.

He did have to chase some elements of it up but in the end it took a couple of months before he received the payment.

He also initially got paid his notice, then had a seperate payment a month later for the redundancy itself.

If you have the breakdown it shouldn't take long. My dad contacted them about that and they gave him an idea of how long so perhaps you could check.
