Welcome Finance

Hi everyone.

I have a loan with this company which I pay £124.00 per month over a 3 year period.

Has anyone ever got a settlement figure from this compnay are they very approachable?

The loan I got with them cleared off many of my little, reduced bills which I would of spent a lifetime paying off, and this one with Welcome is for 3 years.

I am hoping though, one way or the other to get this paid off this year, just wondering what the best way to do this would be please?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

Welcome will ask that you send a letter into them requesting a settlement figure.
It is worth sending it special delivery or popping into your local branch to ensure that they get it,as I know that they are very busy at the moment and you don't want to run the risk of it getting lost.
    Hope this helps.

Welcome front end all interest and charges so you pay all of that first, there are no benefits to overpayments really except the satisfaction of paying it off sooner!

Settlement figures aren't great, and they are set rather than discretionary by the local team (my local team are really quite nice) but when i asked for a settlement figure on £2200 outstanding, they took about £50 off, so not exactly worth doing! as you can see from my sig, i never bothered....

If you're comfortable with the monthly payment and want to bring it down by overpaying i think they would be okay with it, but it won't bring the actual amount you pay down.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)
