Hi guys
I get paid on the 31st of this month and this is enough to cover my debts. Because its a looooooong month some debts have two payments due out of the same wage - hate January! I have a loan payment of £255 due out on the 27th with Bank of Scotland and have changed the due date on this payment before and think I am right in thinking that you can only do this once with them? I also am in arrears on three cards (eeeeek) £90 on RBS card, £30 Capital One and £40 Bank of Scotland. I can pay all three on the 31st but scared of debt collectors appearing - can anyone put my mind at ease???
Thanks :A

Debt collectors don't appear until the credit company has taken you to court. Have you received default notices before?
I can't advise on the Bank of Scotland loan - I would phone them, explain the situation and see if they will allow you to delay the payment this month.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I have been late in payment before but it hasn't been passed on to collections or anything just had loads of calls from them. I avoid them and the letters anyway. I can afford the loan but not the card payments, thats what I worried about now!Januay really stinks!
