Pretty sure it won't be till next week.
It won't open till they have announced this new thing that was included in last weeks e-mail. And as that doesn't look like it will happen before the weekend I think we have a fairly long wait ahead0 -
Did everyone get the email?
Today Slicethepie launches the Virtual Trading Exchange, where budding music moguls can compete head to head in managing their roster of Artists to make as much money as possible for their label.
Free to use, the Virtual Trading Exchange allows you to buy and trade virtual Contracts in Artists. The aim is to make as much weekly profit as you can, and every week we will be giving out £100 in real cash prizes to the top traders in the Virtual Trading League.
To play you need to sign up for FREE and we'll give you £1,000 in your account to get you started (this is virtual cash - not real cash!).
The price of the Contracts on the Virtual Trading Exchange is the same as the live Trading Exchange and their value rises and falls as real life demand for them changes.
Make sure you listen to the Artists' tracks and check Market News on a regular basis - this will help you gauge their potential commercial success and stay ahead of the game. As albums and singles are released we'll also be giving regular sales updates that will directly impact on Contract values.
It may be a 'virtual' Exchange, but these are real Artists recording real albums and the best traders will be winning real money...
With no more scouting due for a week or so, now is the perfect opportunity to try out the Virtual Trading Exchange and get ready for the first of many weekly payouts. Who knows, next week you could be that little bit richer...0 -
Indeed i did get the e-mail
I've also read through all the blurb in the virtual trading section and its all greek to me
Trying to work it out seems like fun
I like the fact that the top seven every week geta cash prize i have a feeling that i wont be doing very well with it best to stick to scouting :rotfl:0 -
No scouting for a week
And I don't understand the trading thing, sounds like celebdaq, which I suck at lol.0 -
Hey how come i never got the e-mail?? I got the one from last week! Maybe because i don't have a trading account?0
-
I dont have a trading account
Asillars i think everyopne should get the e-mail
Sparklewing i think i get the premise you buy contracts using your virtual money in the artists available to you
then within your seven day time frame (next thursday) you choose to sel the contracts youv' bought but only when they are on a plus so that you make some profit
The aim is to buycontracts then sell them on at a profit your aim is to make the best profit you can in those seven days
at least thats what i get, i think i'll give it a go especially when theres no scouting but when scouting is back that will be my priority its what i know lol0 -
oh it just arrived this minute, right i'll go have a read and see what i make of it. This site is just going to get bigger and better me thinks.0

I think this is a bit of a promotional tool for the actual Live trading. It gives people the chance to get themselves familiar with how the trading works without risking their own money and hopefully in turn will interest more people to do the Live trading.0
-
I think its a good idea as i would never have looked into the live trading before too worried i'd stuff it up
So maybe this will change my opinion i know that in the future i'll be buying backstage passes (money permitting) but i dont know....... trading is a little TOO technical for me0 -
Ok bought some random contracts, now going to do what I do with celebdaq and ignore it for a week and hope something good happens.0
