I think you were correct in reporting to STP, nothing is worse then a track being offensive to the general public, to be honest i dont want to listen to his stuff just incase I find offence!!

Not heard hostile yet, however I have no problem with hard hitting gangsta rap (I like the Geto Boys) so if its along the same lines then I will be ok with it, however the lyrics will have to be a strong story, thats message is hard hitting from the gang culture, rather than just 'seeing how many offensive swear words can be joined together in a song to see if people will fall for a lack of talent'

I have 2 tracks to go till 1000 reviews, and at 4 stars and 91.9% but my spread has been decidedly average lately, I am hoping against hope to hit 5 stars, but know that I'll probably go to 92.6% and down to 3 stars

well that was yesterday .. but then i only watched the football and came back.

i rated one mashup song a zero and lost 4.5% accuracy on that one song - it was justin timberlake mixed with the cutting crew and someone else i recognised.

Just back up to 4 stars again, but i'm crashing out now ..

whenever i drop below 85% it's always a challenge for me to get that 3rd star back!
just withdrew £7.50, not alot, but not bad for listening to some decent tunes.

Well, I dropped to 2 stars briefly due to a string of average tracks, and have through perseverance managed to get it back up to 4, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I want a 5th star, even if for only 1 track so I can save it for posterity. This is how I am finishing tonight.

To get that 5th Star im sure you need to have successfully tipped an artist who then gets through to the next stage.

I just read that bit about Hostile, i think you may be surprised at just how vile and distrubed some metal tracks are if you just listened to the lyrics, but this is no reason to report a track. Artists are free to express themselves by any means possible and there is no place for censorship in the music industry.

STP can't really kick an Artist because someone took offence to the lyrics, i mean if it was that simple i'd have had half the Indie bands kicked because i find them offenseive to my ears.

And if you really hate being offended, avoid the late great GG Allin. just a tip.

I may create a track that is utterly offensive :j

Sometimes artists go too far and they need to know how far they can go.
