been an absolutely brutal day scouting today .. i think they must have basically switched on the hip hop filter because out of the 50 songs i've done today, i must have had 40 hip hop tracks.

there's a suggestion it might be a test run for their new sister site to see what the overall opinion of hip hop is on the site - if they're offering a service to the industry on the sister site, then they can't exactly sell a service for hip hop songs when there's a general bias against them.

many people's ratings and accuracy have been decimated today because of it - mine included. i'm currently on one star and vouchers, and ranked 4,338th overall ..

Though I think I must be getting all the leftover tracks then - I've only had a handful of HipHop/Rap all night! But shhhh, I'm not saying that too loud incase they hear and give me them all! :rotfl:

I've had lots and lots of Spanish and Canadian artists tonight I've noticed....

the hip hop stuff is slowly decreasing at the moment - i'm doing a session now.

this afternoon it was absurd though - it was impossible to rate fairly and keep 'the spread' going.

and i lost count of the amount of times i was writing "yet another run of the mill, generic and boring hip hop song".

by the end of it, i was getting quite scathing

Wooooo, just thought I woudl share my highest ranking position with everyone. three tracks prior i was up to 91.95% and prob should have held off there to have been my name further up the table - instead i aimed to get 92% and 5*, though at 1050 tracks that would prob not have happened anyway :rotfl:
