  • Anyone else encountered Jayee Zee (sp?), the Australian dude who sings "You're Pitiful"?

That's a definite cover of the Weird Al Yankovic song of the same name, which, in turn, is a parody of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful".

Haven't heard that one MOthballs. What did you give it? There's that whole thing about giving 0 to covers, isn't there, but then if other people don't realise theyre covers you lose huge amounts of accuracy.

Well having only recently signed up, I am doing this very slowly. I was wondering how many tracks you need to review before you get more stars? I have seen that most of you are between 2-4 stars, i am on one at the moment and would love to know how to get up the scale quicker. But then again as I am at live gigs every weekend, i am quite enjoying listening to random tracks and trying to be constructive in my comments, but i am getting the impression there is more to it than that?

£5.00 worth of vouchers to move onto the next level, accuracy dependant too.

Novagirl at first its really up and down with the whole star thing like for ten tracks you'll be on two stars then up to four then back down to two it for me was really sporadic but now that i have an excel spreadsheet where i input my last 30 scores for tracks i've found that i am staying solidly on 3 stars and managed to keep four stars for 30 tracks yesterday

Slice the pie now penalise you for not using the full scale so you could be on 90 accuracy but only be 3 stars so i've found that if i have a run of average 4-7 tracks then if i find one that i do not like or i one that i love as long as i rate that track between 1-3 and 8-10 then that seems to put me back up to 4 stars again

    :D

Perhaps I should do that, currently I'm just ignoring the spread and rating as I see it.

Anyone having issues today, of the last 6 tracks, I have been unable to get credit for 5 of them as 'the scoutroom is not taking reviews for this artist at this time'.

  • Sweetpea i presume that when the 10 second track pops up you have been pressing f5 to refresh this usually for me refreshes the page and a new song pops up on the player
:D I wish i could scout before work but i'm lazy and i work at 7.30

Hi Misspixie, yes kept pressing F5 over and over, but still that silly track would not go away. Even logged out and in again but it was still there. That's the only time I can usually get the player to work properly. Gonna have a go now though and see how it goes.

I completely forgot about this! Looks slightly different from when I was doing it last. Least now I have headphones so I can drown out the children ;)

Glad to see it still going though :)
