You can't legally download anything from the site at the moment - there was talk of implementing an itunes style online shop to buy the songs but this is classed as "soon".

i think it would be a great idea personally and would enable more artists to get financed. if the individual songs were something in the region of 50-70p each and half of the STP scouts purchased one particular song, then that artist immediately gets full financing.

I would hope that if the site stays stable enough for a length of time, then they'd at least look at implementing it.

I just got really excited, after being on 3 stars for months, I finally moved up to 4 stars, but then after 3 tracks, I was down to 3 stars again even though my accuracy went up. I really don't understand the rating system, but I guess I will be happy if I stay on at least 3 stars.

Good to see the Scout room open again. I'm still having massive problems with all my tracks stopping and starting about 4 or 5 times on each track, but I think that is something to do with my wireless broadband., because the same thing happens when I try and watch programmes on the BBC I player.

I was just wondering about these 0 second tracks, and there is the assumption that they are uploaded, however surely its possible that it a software glitch and that for some reason the STP software creates these, I was only thinking this as I had a few 9 - 12 minute tracks yesterday that finished at about the 3-5 minute mark, where previously I put it down to it being uploaded incorrectly, I am now coming to the conclusion that its more likely to be caused on the STP side.

If a short track was uploaded then it should be easy to stop it joining the scout room - a simple length check would throw them out, however if its a STP problem then logically speaking it would be harder to sort as it would mean correcting existing code.

Just decided to have a go today, and had a first track that stopped at 55 seconds of 2 mins odd, then 5 short tracks, will come back later

i am only getting 14sec tracks and cant review anything, any ideas as to what i can do?

F5 might refresh so you get a different track, if not try logging out, closing and restarting browser and logging in again, this can help too, otherwise its just a case of leaving it for a bit and trying later.

there was a 1 minute 30 track that wasn't playing properly, but i've rated and reported that one

working for me now but it put me down to 1 star!!! back on 2 now but need to get to 3, how many songs do you need 2 review to get 3?
