I've had that too, when you've heard a great song & want to tell him you think its fab & then the thing fails
The play button wouldn't work for a good 5 mins for me just now

I have listened to a few brilliant song but my goodness have i listened to some rubbish.... no offense to the singers or anything.

Not trying to spell people words but i'm stuck on what words to use when its a track that has no lyrics. I find it hard to work out whats being played, i obviously know the guitar & drums but thats about it. I keep using the word instruments but that might sound lame & boring :o

I don't know how many times I said 'the instruments where really played well' today

Misspixie, I know you are quite into it all, is there anywhere we can see a few samples reviews to get some ideas? I know there's a list of words on the FAQ thread but I'd like to see what other people write. Not to nick their quotes but to get some ideas.

I only got back into it after writers share went down, must admit am liking this room far more than the dance room as my stats took a real hit in there! Am now climbing, albeit slowly! When will they appreciate my talent and award me my fourth star

ha becky i'm waiting for them to take mine away!! lol Haven't looked at the stats in a while, hmm need to investigate. but i'm sure you'll get that 4th star soon!

had a not bad run just now actually, a few bands i've tipped previously have popped up again so that's cool. There's been a lot of good indie stuff so it's replacing the godawful stuff i was getting to start with!

I had a telling off for one of my reviews, so am currently on my best behaviour! I have a new system in place which has seen my stats rise gradually with only 1 or 2 small drops. Now instead of marking as I would normally mark out of ten, I add one point to what I would normally award and have gone from 88.18 to 89.42 over about 10 days, is working for me so am going to keep at it.

That's pretty good, if it keeps on like that you should have no problem getting that extra star! i've been rating a bit lower than normal, maybe i'm getting fussier! at 91.11 so it's not gone down too much thankfully, but then i haven't scouted in the last couple of rooms.
