It is a bit funny on the boards i mean they could quite easily be more friendly like here but some people chose not to, still i will still write on there because there are some lovely people there

Pinkstevie girl *blush* have been in that top spot for um just over a week now i think I keep waking up expecting it to be gone but i wouldnt mind if it was takes the pressure off

Everyone is doing really well with the targets so i say :j (thats me dancing not saying, i also hasten to add i am neither round nor yellow my picture is my avatar on here) but anyway i digress

Just completed a couple of hours tonight. I've had a lot of good music tonight. Amazed when I had to give my first 10 to a techno track - Pandas of black metal - this particulat track was just so infectious it was uncriticisable, what else could I do, even an aging punk rocker with heavy metal tendancies had to acknowledge the tracks quality. However I've started to encounter a few East European sounding Eurovision contenders with absolutely terrible vocals. I was starting to get too thruthfull so had to get out for the night. I also heard one hell raiser of a heavy / death metal track but with vocals so bad that I nearly fell off my chair. How do you tell a band that they are simply brilliant for their genre but the singer stinks, and make it constructive? Some of these artists sing so poorly that I'm thinking of giving it a go myself! I think I'll have to give the techno room a miss. I like some techno but its really only the exceptional ones that I'd recognise as being good. If I find these tracks hard to grade for the mundane, how will I cope with mundane techno.
Its about time the STP forum kicked off - maybe the anti lesbian diatribe was deliberate to get the !!!!! in the pigeons - certainly needed livening up, its like days pass there without a new comment and many of them are from the same small group of contributors.
Zenyth do rock though! If I invest in a band its gonna be them.

(Sensitive profanity filter here isnt there - molly slocombe would have a nighmare on this board, no one would know what she was talking about!)

Jim i find that as i write my reviews from the intro when something really great comes on (think killswitch engage guitar riffs if you know of them)
I start writing things like immense guitar riffs with raw passion and then the singing starts and i'm like oh it was all going so well and now its ruined ah well

Well, as tempting as it is to atempt an all night review binge, sense dictates that I should try to get some sleep. Night school tomorrow so will not get many tracks done then. Just hope the room stays open long enough for me to have a Friday night bender on there before the techno starts. Night all. (We need a sleepy emoticon)

I'm just going back in the scout room for an hour - haven't done much over the last couple of days in comparison to the weekend.

go for it, mse'ers will be taking over the top 10soon enough!! trying to get a couple more done tonight, i lose my comp at the weekend, it goes in to be fixed, grr, what am i going to do with my evenings?? :eek:
