i am struggling what to right on my reviews i seem to be writing bacically the same things on every one anybody got any ideas to help me please .

kirstyellen, heres a couple of my latest ones - nothing special but hope they help a bit.

“Quite like this. Sparky, energetic indie rock. Like the guitar line and the kinda strangled squeak to it. Good rhythm section, and vocals fit into the current style quite well, I think. Changes tempo up nicely and that would help keep the listener paying attention.. Lyrically nothing amazing but perfectly competent.”

“This is ok but far too samey over six minutes, needs to change things up more. Like the static, distort effects and the vocals are pretty if indistinct. I think theres a good tune here, but theres too much window dressing and not enough meaty tune goodness. Think this could be edited down easily to improve things. “

Have you been writing over 4 lines all along or did you start off with a load of short ones? Thats the only thing I can think of, I think their system must look at your average review length or something.

I used to write 2/3 lines when i first started then i increased after reading this thread, im being honest it my reveiws but it feels like im writing the same, maybe i'll email them

I hate the amound of lonelly singers with just guitars or something, singling slowww, boring songs..they all sound the same! Give me some ganster rap already!

There is way too much acoustic stuff on there, yeah. You need a really strong tune to work acoustically IMO and most STP acts dont have it...

My luck has to run out soon, I keep tripping over good track after good track! Maybe it's because it is at the beginning of the room? Maybe the end brings all the rejects that people haven't bothered to review. Am going to try and get my pennies worth now rather than later....

"This is sooooo cheesy! The lil mouse on phonejacker would be having a field day! It is technically sound and the vocals are fine, I just can't handle that much rhyming in one song, especially when you can guess the lyrics before you even hear them. Sorry, it is technically fine. Although I don't really get what that repetitive beat is in the background, like a quiet raspberry being blown on repeat, it's quite distracting. I can imagine this live in some American local pub, in a film. "

Is anyone STP playing up My Face Book is saying i have 14 tips and STP is saying only 2.

Also my other half has got over 90 accuracy and has reviewed 210 tracks and he is still on 1 star?????????

hey all,im gonna be on it alot today cos im waiting in for a parcel,done about 20 and now am thinkin i dont know if i can do this anymore!!am only on 2 stars and my accuracy is 89%,i started off bad tho cos i didnt write enough but now i do so hoping that it evens out soon
