I have a story about the brummie accent....it involves my Chinese friend, her Chinese name Lai Shun, her english name Shirely. And saying her Chinese name backwards in a Brummie accent.

My nickname is now Chally, Derived from Rai Chal (in brummie accent), derived from Rachel. (My name)

So there you have it

west sussex for me- where all the posh people are , not that its a proven fact but it seems we have a high amount of them hmmmm i probably include myself in that equation but not posh more well spoken

anyway i'm rambling

I think the chav thing is just the UK in general....unfortunately.

As far as accents go, if I like the person I tend to take a liking to the accent....
