I am off STP at the mo, can't get into it at all so am concentrating on AQA'ing

Is there such a thing as being too enthusiastic? I'm getting lots of stuff I really like! Have made 60p so far but I'm just loving the range of music, mind you i am new to this

Just noticed something not too good today on STP. I checked out the "Top Scouts" which all show 4star ratings at 92% acc. So it is impossible now for 5star status which I am sure will annoy the most enthusiastic members of STP. I am hoping for 4star in a few weeks. This is another sign I fear of STP tightening up on scouting income.

Not happy about this as people like misspixierocktastic who write great reviews and have god like accuracy are being penalise for their hard won status.

I just got an email from STP complaining that most of my ratings are between 4 and 7 in this scout room and that I should use the complete range and that doing this is in breach of their T&C's. However what they don't seem to realise is that they themselves say you should give a rating on what you think other people will rate and when I have rated using the full 1-10 my scouting accuracy has always gone down. Also I cannot help that fact that most of the tracks in this scoutroom seem to be mediocre and therefore should be given a score between 4 and 7. This has annoyed me slightly. Has anybody else had a similar experience?

I'd give them an email back stating what you have just put!

god like accuracy mwahahahaha :-) actually it's going down mine is because I havent reviewed very much at all ....my inactivity is going against me but its ok i'm still going (have just had job issues lately):D

Hemulin i'm suprised that I havent had that yet, iIrarely rate below 4 because even the most awful tracks have some kind of redeeming feature in it, although i do rate 8's a lot-it's a bit silly really because now your being penalised for what *they* see as being a safe scoring range whereas we see it as the range that those tracks fit into

I mean what do they expect you to do hemulin give a track a 9 that you thought should have been a six just because it falls in the 4-7 range

Thanks for the replys guys. So do you think it's worth emailing back? The strange thing is I have quite a high accuracy of 93%+ so I can't be that off what everyone else is scoring.

Its not impossible, you just cant get to 5 stars by reviewing alone. You need to tip a band which ends up getting financed (or something like that). I dont think there's been a 5 star scout in STP yet.

hemulin - I would send them a quick email. Their system isnt entirely logical and the more people point that out the better!
