Afternoon all, thought i'd let you know that after playing around on the virtual trading i decided that i quite liked it and decided to have a go with my real money. I thought i'd transfer the left over money that i couldn't withdraw as it was under a fiver to the trading section. I ended up buying 2 contracts in The Alps at £1.21 each and sold them last night for £1.34 each. Good timing as they have now gone back down.So even though the scout rooms are closed i earned 26p.

Is it best to buy contracts when they are on a down then sell when they are going up ?

yeah, get them when they are lower, if the band starts to make any headlines the contract prices will usually rocket.
