Writing a business plan

Hi,

I am making plans to set up a small, part time business from a hobby and to make sure I make it as successful as possible I want to write a business plan but have no idea where to start.

I have looked for tips on the internet but all the jargon baffles me. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to get me started. Any help would be much appreciated.
