It is a bargain but before buying remember that metal handles (like this set has) get very hot. I'ts OK if you remember every time you use them otherwise you'll get burnt hands!

A good point. You just have to be more careful. We have found that the soft-grip or heat resistant handles soon become discoloured when used in the dishwasher. At this price you can afford oven gloves. Remember all saucepans were like this until a few years back.

I didn't say that it said they couldn't be used on induction. I said that it didn't say they could be used on induction . If you look at the description on the web site it states the hob types they are suitable for as follows:

Suitable for Electric, Gas, Solid hotplate, Ceramic and Halogen hob.

no mention of suitability for induction hob types!

I also have an induction hob. It is not the constrtuction material of the pan that dictates whether you can use a particular type of pan, but the construction of the base of the pan. As my hob also has halogen, I have a mixture of pans, including stainless steel and copper bottom. And I can categorically state that not all stainless steel pans work on the induction rings, they must have a specific type of base contruction. However, they all work on the halogen.

In my experience if the manufacturer does not state they will work with aninduction hob, the chances are they probably won't, although that is not always 100% true.

Not if they're made of different metals they don't.
