This was posted on hukd 2 weeks ago, for a 1080p tv it is cheap however if you look at he contrast ratio on the tv its really not up to par, consider that my non 1080p hd samsung has a contrast ratio of 8000:1 then look at this with a ratio of 800:1. Im sure this tv would be fine for normal viewing however you're going to notice some serious lag when you're watching sports etc.
All the best

After a bit more reading it appears that samsung etc quote there contrast ratio in dynamic terms ie they seem to times the normal contrast ratio by ten, reading on avforums about this there are very mixed reviews, however the main theme appears to be that unless you have an hd source, ie sky hd, ps3, bluray etc then its not great, anyway have a look here and see what ya think:

I have just got the 42" Version of this and kinda mixed views on the AV Forums about it also............ going from a 480P plasma to i have to say im very pleased with it. Sky looks just as bad as it does on plasma......... Xbox360 upscaled to 1080i looks awsome even more so on a HD-DVD
