Croatia vs England tickets

I would imagine this will be in Zagreb rather than Split (although split would be nicer).

Does anyone have any tips for purchasing england away ticketd? Official line is to join england fans which costs £45 and tbh this will be the only away match I'll attend until maybe the world cup in 2010 (or more likely knowing england, a set of meaningless friendlies in June 2010 ;))

As such, I dont really want to shell out £45 for englandfans membership if the tickets are quite expensive as well, as it will be pricey enough anyway.

Saying that - it is about £100 for a weeks hotel and flights so is a cheap holiday!

You wont get away tickets for a qualifier even if you do join England fans unfortunately. You have to join England Fans+ and renewal will be up after the Euro's so you can apply to join. Membership lasts each campagne i.e World Cup quals and then when we go to the competitions you enter a ballot for tickets at the tournamont(sp). Now it is £60 or was for the last miserable campagne and you don't have to renew but it is very very unlikely you will get tickets for an away qualifier without this membership unless you have lots of money to spend on tickets when you get there off a ticket tout :)
If you haven't been to Wemberly yet I would take her there for a home qualifier the stadium really is something else and the view on the tele really doesn't do it justice at all it is absolutely gigantic  Also it is free to join the standerd England Fans thingy and then you just buy tickets from F.A wbsite for the matches as they come available.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help - been to Wembley for England U21s vs Italy and off there for the game next month against Switzerland, but would like to go to an away game! I think tickets for Andorra may be easier so will probably try for those (not many home fans!)
