Hi monster...the only difference it will make is the amount of washing up!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
No, seriously, I honestly don't think there is any reason, from a health point of view, why you shouldn't do either. I would put it onto a plate myself, but that's just 'cos I like to feel I'm eating a "proper" meal.
If slobbing it out of the container suits you, go for it:D
Just one final question - when I eat the leftovers tomorrow, is it OK (if a bit slobbish) to eat them straight from the tupperware thingie, or should I put them on a plate? I'm not clear on the safety issues on that, I would think if the bugs get killed when I nuke it in the microwave it wouldn't make much difference transferring it, but don't want to take risks. Any ideas?
If you nuke it in a squashy plastic box, the fat content in the food will probably damage the box. Only a little, but it makes little pits in the plastic which won't be easy to clean. Also a minute quantity of plastic ends up in your food. Better to tip it into a glass or microwave proof bowl and no one will mind if you eat it straight out of there. Give it at least one good stir while reheating and you'll be OK. It should be too hot to eat for a while once it's done. We've all eaten reheated leftovers if we have ever microwaved a ready meal. Home cooked tastes much better.
