in Credit cards
Hello,
Iv recently moved on the 2nd January, iv changed my addresses with the bank, cards, phones etc and iv sent the form off to the electoral section of the local council so my name should appear when its updated this month.
How long roughly do you think it will be before my rating gets back to normal? 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months?....
Luckily I applied for 2 new cards and canceled 2 before I moved basically I obtained new 0% deals so I dont need to apply for a good while. Im keeping a regular eye on my experian file so I know when im on the electoral role and when my two canceled cards show up as satisfied.
However iv got an Egg money card (Mastercard) and In about 6 months id like to also get the Egg Card (Visa). Do you think my credit file will recover enough in 6 months to get the Egg Card if im quick on the ball getting registered etc......

Some councils only update on 14th October, although most are rolling now. It won't impact your score though, it's obvious on your credit report when this is the case and will be obvious to prospective lenders.
I'm under the impression that over 3 years is best, with over 2 good etc etc
You did the same as me sort your credit out then move! lol0 -
