Tesco - Peg Basket 24p

Browsing in Tesco - as you do - and picked up a new Peg Basket with 36 pegs in, expecting it to be about £2.50 as the really cheap looking one was £1 odd, when got to the till it scanned at 24p, so I went back and got 4 more.

I know sad, but when your DS is playing football in the garden and always manages to knock the peg basket off the line and breaks it I was quite pleased.

Can you give me more info? Colour? Size or even the barcode? My OH is going to TESCO soon. Need more pegs!

Hi Sugar

It is a blue basket, did have some grey ones - but didn't check those ones out, blue and white pegs, some had blue and yellow -

just says on label Tesco - Peg basket in a red circle 36 plastic pegs
barcode: 5 051008 889345

i got this last week but it never came up as 24p on the till, but the guy on the quick pay til altered price for me

I bought a few of these just before Christmas, took out the pegs and used them to make small hampers as gifts! I was struggling to find boxes at the time and although they didn't hold much they actually looked really nice once filled with a few toiletries and other goodies and wrapped in cellophane. So if you are just after pegs, don't through the baskets away!
