I don't know if this has been mentioned before but i was on the bus going past the Richer Sounds stores in Birmingham and saw they have an instore sale on where they'll price match any price including Online sales and beat it by up to a £100. Not sure about the specifics though, as I didn't go in.

Thanks OP
Terms are:
• Our Price Challenge is even valid up to 7 days after purchase!
• All that we ask is that the product be brand new, boxed and in stock, there and then.
• We will price beat against other web retailers (including next day P&P when products can't be collected) as long as we can verify stocks via a UK phone number.
• Price beat on plasma applies only when the price of a 5 year ‘at home’ warranty is added to both theirs and ours.
• Price beat on LCD applies only when the price of a 5 year warranty is added to both theirs and ours.
no good for me i want a plasma but dont want to pay for 5 year guarantee0 -
They have had this policy for a v.long time...
...by the way the cost of their 5yr warranties is very low - so quite often you wlil find their price plus the cost of guarantee < places giving it 'free'The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

Just bought a new hi-fi system from Richer Sounds this week - if you buy a few componants together they can offer you a discount of £100, they also gave me good qaulity speaker cable for half price.
For the record can totally reccomend Cambridge 640 amp & cd player with Kef IQ5 speakers!!!November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.0 -
I have the CA 640 amp and can heartily recommend it too.
Sign up to their VIP newsletter which comes every now and then and features some decent 'member only' discounts. I got 100 quid off a 42" Panasonic plasma TV last year, which was already selling for less than John Lewis, Currys and Argos!"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
