medion repair - WIN

not sure where to post this, but i bought a medion sat nav off their website last Jan -07, which had a motherboard malfunction a couple of weeks ago. still being under warranty, i returned it back to them (fair play - at their cost) only to get a letter saying it needed an out of warranty repair, pay 85 quid, or 30 quid to get it back - broken.

after a bit of polite ranting, and no mention of the sale of goods act, result!

lesson to all, dont accept 1st answer.

love to all

i had smiliar problems with my 32 inch lcd, despite the fault i recorded on my camera , sent them the item they couldnt find the fault, it was sent back to me, saying no fault found, im having same problems again, sent them emails and not been 3 weeks no reply whatsoever

    wouldnt deal with them again
  • did you have to pay to get it back? they wanted to charge me £30 for the privilage.

i would go through to customer services, as i found faults to be useless.

if in doubt, quote sales of goods act!
