  • Hi,
I would never ever book a cruise direct with Ocean Village holidays. Without doubt, you will pay through the nose. Try the cruise TA's who often discount their prices. If you ring around just a few, they generally all will better the price you currently have. I don't know whether you have cruised before, but pop over to www.cruisecritic.com and read the reviews on Ocean Village, it's come in for some real slating recently. I can let you have the web address of some of the companies I have used in the past if you think they could be of some use. Sally
  • Just back from ocean village - 3rd cruise this year. 11 years of cruiseing P & O, Princess etc. Great holiday. If you only look at the FEW moaners you will see they are the elderley who the ship is not aimed at, hence the new Ventura of P & O (which has copied OV) is also coming in for lots of complaints. Again from older cruisers who do not appreciate modern enetertainment aimed at the young market !! Book it - they are going to Australia next year so they (younger) can enjoy great value cruising. It is our loss as we are left with expensive old fashioned cruising !

I've just booked with www. cruise. co. uk. for £150 less per passenger than quoted on the Ocean Village website which meant I could afford to upgrade my choice of cabin.
(This site wouldn't let me post with a link hence the odd spacing in the link name!)

I got a quote using Tesco clubcard vouchers yesterday and the same cruise via the cruise.co.uk website is only £66 less than what was quoted with CC vouchers, so all in all a great saving to be made, if you have enough vouchers!

  • Looks like Ocean Village will cease in Oct 10 (both ships being sold down under) - any good comparable cruises?
