window etch spray/window film

ive seen a bit on ebay at exortionate prices, anyone know if larger B&Q etc do any. I want to either spray or film my window for privacy. ive sen it done on these make over programmes but cant find the stuff... and its expensive on ebay!

homebase sell a large variety of the film...though check carefully which pattern you want, as they all look the same in the packet.
i bought the spray - called 'spray etch' from an art supply shop..but found it very hard to get even spray. the results looked very patchy.
https://www.brume.co.uk sell various patterns cut to the exact size you want, but are more expensive.
if you buy stuff from homebase, clean the window very very well, if poss with upvc window take off the inner plastic frame, as it makes the edges neater. try using an anti-static spray after cleaning, as our bathroom window now forever contains 2 of my husband's eyelashes...0
