can i take it back

I got my daughter a gift just before christmas and she has got 2 will i be able to return one of them i carnt find my recipt though

    Just taken back game that got in sale last year but never used brought it for £4.50 they look on comp to see selling price at xmas which for me was £6.78 now £8.99 so got more than paid anyway. then brought the game set that's on here great bargain for £3.49 only got one in stock though shame. Had bit of hassel but not much as they checked the internet there and then

    I've been told by our managers only to refund it at the lowest price we've ever sold it, not current price - you got lucky lol :beer:

    Thats exactly what happened to me...no receipt = current lowest selling price on a credit voucher :mad:

    You can only get money back legally if there is something wrong with it. Managers discretion otherwise. You might have a better chance of getting a refund if you show the credit card statement with transaction if you have lost the receipt under the 28day Money back Guarantee thing they do.

    Also, i've been shouted at by a customer because I wouldn't take her item back because it wasn't sealed up properly or resaleable, and she said "i've got a right to my moneyback" - NO. 30 day money back guarantee is a gratuity, not a legal right!!! lol, little rant :D
