HI all,
I have a bit of a dilema, and wondered if any of you wonderful OSers could help...
How do I get lily pollen  (and assorted other marks) out of a white fluffy robe? Its of the 100% polyester variety, and OH got it for me from the hotel we stayed in for our anniversary (so I really want to keep it nice)
Any and all help gratefully received!
Many thanks again,
PG xxx

Hi,
Don't wash or rub it!!! Get some sticky tape and put it over the pollen, it should come right out. Keep doing it til it is all gone.
I've never tried this on a fluffy dressing gown, but it is the only way I've ever found to remove lily pollen without staining!
Hope it's not too late xxxNobody I'd rather be

I also wondered if anyone know hyow to keep them fluffy like they are originally? I had one like this before and it ended up all clumpy instead of fluffy
Thanks again!0 -

I found that brushing the fabric with a prickly hairbrush helps fluff it up:D
A Teasel would be better, but they seem to be all but extinct?
( a prickly plant head thingy that was used in the Mills to "bring up the nap", if memory serves me................)0 -

lillies are a problem if they get onto fabric or carpets, i have a cream carpet, so if i am lucky enough to get flowers with lillys in them i remove the stamens before putting them in the vase... better safe than sorry!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
