Bucket for coal/ wood

Options
I need a bucket for storing coal and wood next to the soon to be installed OS sold fuel fire. I know that Ikea had a bucket that was really cheap (about £10) but when I look on the internet I can't find it. I know a few people of this forum have it as I have seen it mentioned a few time.

Can anybody post me a link to it or let me know where I can get once cheap?

Thank you!

Do you have many car boot/jumble sales round your way? We've got a big basket which we use to keep logs in - 20p at the local school jumble sale!

Thanks! I thought I'd give it a go on here as I know that lots of OS'ers discuss their solid fuel fires.

  • Have you tried Matalan or Internacionale for log basket type things. I am on the lookout myself having just put in a stove and that was where I was going to try. I did buy a coal scuttle from a local hardware store but can't remember the price as it was a while ago - it was before the stove was fitted as I got a bit overexcited. I got a companion set from another local hardware store. Think sometimes the wee local shops can be quite good for this sort of thing.

I have one of the Ikea ones mentioned. It works a treat. I am going to Ikea this week. I will check if they still have them in stock.
