Did you know that some people get head hunted for a position.
They sometimes have to say no to several jobs...
But then again, they're generally good...

But they tend to be senior managers.

Because my boss told me that.

well, if that's true, and it wasn't really 16, then well done.

    now stop moaning.

Life really does seem like a huge fight sometimes. You can go for a job and you have to fight off 300 other people for a 50% ft job and you have to fight to pay the bills every month and fight to even exist in the basic human way.

Yes Phil. I quite agree. It is a tough life out there. We all live in a material world and everybody seems to want to be the best - at any cost. Morals are out of the window. Good manners are out the window. The sad thing is that you have to often fight in a way you would like - just to keep up.

I was in Tesco's the other day. It came to discount time for the cakes and this guy nearly flattened an older women in order to get a half price cake. Very sad. I'm sorry it is just the way the world is going.

    Yes it does.

I have health problems, and just when I start dealing with those problems, another one comes along and starts making a nuisance of itself.

You kinda just have to get on with it though, because there will always be someone much worse of than yourself.

Wallow in self pity v making the most of what you've got :confused:

Maybe you have to be brave to keep getting up off the floor time and time again after every knock down.

But Oxbridge and a graduate traineeship most likely made them like that.
