Its ok, i'm on my 40th attempt at giving up since BR
just survived a whole 18 hours today before i cracked:rolleyes: The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

FeelingLow,
I'm sorry you are sad, but if debt is making you that sad - be glad that we have the choice to fix it and for me BR represents that. I told this to the OR and I think he appreciated it.
I also took stock of my life - and it's not really money that makes it what it is, but being in debt just makes you think that it is. Remove one source of sadness and your one step to being happy - that's the way I look at it.
I've become very goal orientated to and that seems to really be helping me sort my head and life out.
The Ed.

Hi Ed,
Congratulations on getting it behind you and looking forward to the "diary" developing. I wanted to publish a diary but there were just so many things that I couldn't really put in black and white.;)
Best regards

Hi,
Today I went to open an account with the Co-Op. Although I'm okay with the fact that I'm BR I was strangely pleased as the bank branch was completely empty! Strange, it feels weird saying it. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time.
The enquires guy was polite - although when I told him that I was a BR wanting to open an account, he did say "Oh... Sorry to hear that"... I kept quiet and he showed me over to an assistant who was busy on the phone sorting out her private life! She was less than enthusiastic, but she took my details, and applied for the account.
I was told that the account, in principle was agreed - but I would hear from the bank in 3 working days. I thanked her, double checked that it was clear on my application that I was BR. She said that "it will show up anyway". Which might meant she didn't need make a note of it, but there we go. Who am I to say how she should do her job!?
I left feeling like I'd ticked one of my week's goals, and she returned to finding out what her mate Sharon had been up to...
More info when I have it... over and out.

It does have some advantages going b/c. The other day i was being chased to open a "breast cancer credit card"(what will they think of next do get us to have credit?), i said no very nicely 2, tried to walk away, still followed, told i did not need to use it:eek: ,ect ect. Then i told her i was an undischarged b/c:o,she said "oh" the same as your bank then ran! So somtimes it does come in useful. I may even use that line after i have been discharged just to get rid of these people. Glad you are feeling ok. Keep us up to date. Hi Ed, Did you get the cashplus mastercard? Its great to keep a bit of money on it just in case. I was in Sainsbury's the other week and got to the til with my £2.00 of purchases only to realise I didn't have any money - out came my cashplus mastercard to save the embarrassment of having to admit I didn't even have that small amount of money in my purse!

Hi Ed,
Glad everything went well in court for you. You certainly seem very organised with all you are doing. I am really looking forward to reading your diary.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hi,
A little update - checked with Co-Op Bank this afternoon and my account has been opened and my cashplus mastercard pin arrived today!
I'm now going to let the OR know about the account and let him know that the forms sent through will be returned today.
I now only have 3 things on my "to-do" list. When their done, then what?!
