Quidco or Pigback?

Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I have joined quidco and pigsback, but now I don't know which one to use because you can earn money from both of them. Can anyone recommend which one is better or is it a case of checking them both out before buying something so see who gives the best deals? Thank a lot !

I use both, it's just a case of seeing who pays the best rate for wherever you are buying from. Remember to clear cookies every time and take screen shots/save order confirmation emails in case you have any tracking problems.

I've just had my first payout from Quidco (£110) for daily clicks and free sign-ups and have had £25 from Pigsback for click thrus. Not bad in 4 months.

    I just LOVE free money!

    Use both.
Quidco can earn you real money £200-£300 per year for the average person when it tracks but on the whole for me it's been good.
Pigsback I find less reliable for shopping but fine for free points (which are getting less and harder to get)
about £30 a year just for the odd few clicks.

Defnately agree with both of the above posts, I generally find Quidco tracks better than that for pigsback but like f3lix said you can get free points from pigsback.

Both of these sites pay cashback on purchases made through them. Quidco charges £5 a year but you can make it back easily. Different stores give a percentage of your purchase.

    Hope that this helps

I am on both, i find pigsback better on a day to day basis as i like their free points, quidco is good for shopping although i tend to use pigsback more because i prefer the site. For those who don't know they are both what are called cashback sites.

Example. I want to buy harry potter dvd. Sign in to pigsback, click on shop and earn, click on site that sells dvd's, redirected to dvd site, order dvd as normal.

after ordering you will get an amount of cashback put onto your account, how much depends on the site, it may be 2 points for every pound you spend.

The other things they offer are click throughs, you can sometimes earn points for just clicking on a site from your cashback account. I find i go on each day to do the click throughs it takes about 2 mins then log out or if i need to shop then they're great. For someone not used to cashback sites i think pigsback is easier to understand, but others swear by quidco so it's personal choice. Hope that helped! p.s. £17.25 on pigsback since november and haven't actually done any shopping through there, just entered free competitions and click throughs!
  • Hi

I have joined Quidco but I m not sure what sites you have to click for the 'daily click throughs' that every one talks about. Can anyone tell which ones they use please?

OP - I have found Quidco slightly better than Pigsback only because I liked the Boots vouchers and now they do not appear.

    Personal preferance I suppose.

I need to start trawling around for car insurance renewal so have joined Quidco. Do you have to clear your cookies if:

you re-visit the same site eg. Churchill ?

Can I link into to all the insurance companies and save my quotes, decide and then go back in. Will the cashback track?

Maybe some kind soul can give me easy instruction.

    Thank you in advance.

Yes, you must clear the cookies per each visit otherwise it may well not track.

If you save the quote then return to the site the chances are that it will not track. To be sure, don't do it.
