    For me -

    - used tumble dryer for all washing possible, as I needed it done quickly so I can get it ironed soon :oI thought the point of tumble drying was so that you DON'T have to iron:confused: . Also I don't iron anything and this saves me time and money:T .

  • DS bought a new school bag as his ripped so that was an unbudgetted £10 this month . I have also given DS a tenner for school dinners this coming week. TBH, I haven't found that making packed lunches for him is a great saving, probably only £1-2 per week.

I have also used the tumble drier to dry about 4 loads . Although it is windy today, it is a wet wind (if that makes sense) so can't dry outside.

Apart from that just a couple of bits at the shop totalling £5 but have made lots of chilli and soup portions from the ingredients so will save money in the long run on dinner and lunches.
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

Makes total sense. I've run out of clean underwear! :p
  • Put the wall heater on for my sisters Chinchilla as he likes the heat on to dry his fur out... (They're not supposed to get wet, but he drenches himself under his water bottle and then drys off on the radiator!)

Yes SS, after reading it back it sounds a bit "follow through" like. Maybe something do to with cooking chilli maybe :D)

Ate out for lunch - but it was my nephews Christening, so would have been rude not too.

Luckily my sister in law organised a great deal on it so got two courses for £8 - plus there was cake, which we've brought home a huge slab so H can take that in his lunch this week.

So I guess not too bad overall.

Had the heating on all day at 30 c. Wish I could say that it feels even remotely tropical.
