Prawn shells

I did a seafood platter at Christmas with a few langoustine and shell-on prawns.
I've still got the shells (originally ~2kg prawns) in the freezer as I thought I could do a prawn bisque with them.... but ideally I need some prawns too and I don't really want to buy more prawns for a supper I'd planned to be 'free'...
Is there anything else I could use prawn shells for.... or have I crossed the line from MSer to total tightwad and I should just say goodbye to them and retain some dignity:o .
Many thanks in anticipation

You could make a fishy stock, and use it as a base for a vegetable soup - I'd include lots of garlic, and serve with crusty bread.

I think I'd bin them to be honest0

You could make a fairly plain stock with just the shells, stick of celery, 1 onion and bayleaf; and then use it as the base for a paella, but it might be a bit odd if you've got a fishy stock with no fish in the actual dish!2015 comp wins - £370.25

Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Thanks Liz and Penelope, and Sola, I admire your honesty;) .
I was thinking a 'British' root veg soup with fish stock might be a bit odd (especially as all prawn will make it quite sweet), so I'd make it a bit Mediterranean, i.e, pepper and tomato and lots of olive oil and garlic.... then the paella idea comes along - bingo. I don't mind getting some chicken thighs and a bit of pepperami, the fishy element can be a suggestion in this case....
I think I'll end up with enough stock to try both actually.
Thanks girls.:T
