Tower pressure cooker advice needed

I've very generously been given an unused, ten year old Tower pressure cooker by a friend. The only thing it came without was the instructions. I've always used Prestige in the past, and now I have a question. I've just cooked some potatoes, and when the cooker reached pressure a coloured band showed up on the weight, then another one (think they were yellow then blue). What do these colours mean? Here's a picture of the pressure cooker for reference.
Underneath the cooker is stamped Tower Model 4 Chef series 97.
Thanks guys

They will probably be showing that different pressures have been reached.
You could probably find an instruction book to download - there are some links in the indexed collections at the top of the forum.

The colours on the top weight represent lbs pressure

    Yellow 5lbs pressure
    Blue 10lbs pressure
    Red 15lbs pressure

15lbs pressure is used for most normal cooking, the lower weights are used when more gentle cooking is required.
