Credit Expert charged my credit card

Not best pleased - I rang them up last week (two days before the end of my 30 day trial) to cancel and today I notice that they'e charged my card 6.99

Anyone had this before? Did you get them to refund it / is this going to be months worth of hassle now?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum by the way, but you lot always have the answers!)

Hiya - I've found them really helpful when you contact them by phone, so I would just give them a ring. If they have taken the payment in error, they will hopefully just be able to refund it to you.

I've been a member with Credit Expert for about 8 months now and get charged £5.99 a month. I was happy to pay but recently decided not really worth it as I only look around 3 times a month at my credit report, see if anything has changed. Wouldn't be so bad if you can look how ever many times at your credit score for free.

I called them Saturday to cancel but they were closed - going to ring back tomorrow and cancel. Hoping they cancel it and not keep charging me - was hoping I wouldn't have to pay £5.99 next month - praying I won't have too & it will be cancelled straight away. Might be your bank wasn't informed quick enough maybe?
  • Thank you for your replies - it's good to know that they're easy to deal with as I've had so many problems of this kind before ;)
