I've been looking for a reasonably priced laptop for ages, thanks to our friends at hukd look at the deal below, i just placed my order, apologies if posted before!

don't forget quidco for another 5%.

And the 1700 range is also got a very good deal too. For this model only (1700) I would downgrade the ram from 2gb to 1gb and upgrade processor and battery to 9 cell.

Gosh i forgot to mention that!, i used topcashback instead, saves on the annual £5 charge that's due on quidco

Does topcashback give as high percentages per retailer? Quidco are meant to pass it all on and thats why they charge a £5 fee. From what I understand the competitors do not charge a fee but take some of your profit each time. Obviously not for Dell.

It gives the same 5% that quidco does, i always compare the 2 before i order anything!

This deal has now got better. You can add a trulife screen and a mouse, and get it for £310, or a 160gb hard drive for the same price. If you want both 160gb hard drive and trulife screen it comes to £327.
I ordered one 2 days ago, but I cancelled and reordered.today.

The original spec works out dearer, as free shipping only kicks in if you add £20 of extras

With the basic setup, it comes to £346.7 for me, how did you get it for £327 with the 160 GB? Is it the same machine which is linked to by the one in the first post?

Yes , you need to add extras of at least £20, to qualify for free shipping. This only shows up when you add it to your basket.
