P60 usually come with a warniong saying to keep them save because you can't get a copy.
Why does he need it?
However, he could ask his employer.
Also his last salary slip for the year (i.e. March's ) normally has the same information as the P60.0 -
The employer can issue a duplicate P60 - this will be identical to the original execept it must be clearly marked as a duplicate.

Thanks for your help, in answer to your question he is on a secondment to the RFA ( royal fleet auxilary ) & as he is either at sea, or at least 12 miles out, he should be able to claim his tax back for the year, we have someone doing this on our behalf - paid them £170, just want to make sure we get it right (as in time out of the country), would hate to lose the money, due to being in the country for a couple of days too many. They have asked for the P60, my husband remembers having it to ring WFTC but as he never puts things away!!! so it's dissapeared.
I'm so worried we'll lose this money, as this will be a big part of clearing our debt. The contract he is on was supposed to be 3 years, but is now only 18 months, so we've only got until July on reasonable money, until he goes back to his old job, or similar ( they have to hold a job open for you, not necessarily the same one ) which isn't great money, but hopefully by then I will be able to find a job, quite difficult at the moment as 2 children, no help with childcare so can't work eves or w/ends or school hols didn't get the job I went for that fit in with school, but still looking:oComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

As I said his March pay slip will show the total gross pay and the total tax and the tax code which is all you need to reclaim the tax0

For Tax repayment purposes a P60 is normally only needed in the first month or two of the tax year. It is accepted as evidence of the tax paid before the tax office receives the employer’s Return.
At this time of year your husband’s tax office really should know his pay and tax details for 2006/07.
Just make the claim.0
