Hi All,
Sorry if I'm being a bit dumb but how do you get things from freecycle?
Have seen a veg stand advertised and just wondering how I go about 'applying' for it
)
Probably very obvious to everyone else but seems to good to be true to me!

never used freecycle really but you just email the advertiser and ask about the item.
never hurst to be polite as many wait for a few replys to decide who gets the item
however im assuming you actually have joined the group?0 -
As Custardy says,
Your reply goes directly to the poster (as opposed to the whole list). Be polite, explain why you may want the item, suggest times that you would be able to collect the item - if you will walk to collect, mention it - some people favour local collectors. Give your name and any details they may ask for! They will select from several messages, and choose who to offer it to.
If you are offered the item, make sure you can collect when agreed and let them know if you aren't going to get it for any reason. It's a courtesy thing
Sound obvious really, but so many people reply saying 'I want your item' and then they don't tun up that it makes you wonder......0 -
Go to www.freecycle.org
and go from there.
Register with the group(s) closest to you and then advertise stuff you need to get shop of ask for stuff you want.
You can also reply to offered and wanted ads.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
