How much did you spend today? 27/06

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I have spent a big fat £0.00p today. The last few days have been a bit tight as I transferred my money over to my savings account, and probably could have done with keeping a bit more to spend rather than saving what I did. Its payday Wed, so have £10 to last til then, will probably go to the cinema tomorrow night (cheap night) to treat myself, bring lunch in again tomorrow. Have rediscovered the joys of cheese & cucumber sandwiches, mmm!!

I have just sent my parents a cheque for £400 for my holiday in September, that hurt a little bit, but that money has been sitting in my savings since January, so it wasnt unexpected. Have my spending money saved too.

Im definately a lot cheerier this week, still have to work tonight & wish i didnt, but never mind.

Had an i/v today, and have to go back for a 2nd tomorrow, it would mean a £4K payrise. Not a fantastic job, but since im only looking for something for the short term (until i go travelling), it will do & the money will definately come in handy, we'll see though.

How much have you spent? Within budget this month? Any aims/goals for July? What is your weekly budget?

As long as you 'dry' the cucumber on kitchen roll or you end up with soggy sarnies by lunchtime!

Today I have spent 85p on a lever arch file that was marked down from £3.99 because it had a small dent in one corner (what do I care - it's only going to be sat in the cupboard with papers in it!).

Also spent £1.50 on b/f's birthday card. I know cards aren't necessary but I have been really good with his actual presents. Last year I bought him an ipod (eek). This year I've bought him a 6 month subscription to empire (something he buys every month anyway) and a polo shirt. I love giving presents so I think I've been quite restrained!
What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

DFD - WAS: a while ago

NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!

I spent £2.60 on lunch, as I left my packed lunch sitting on the table at home :o

Not all bad though as I got a meal deal from boots and the advantage card machine was giving 50 extra points for a meal deal. And I got a voucher for a free pack of sanitary towels from the machine too! :money:

Just spent £26.00 at the Vets  although it was a necessary expense of owning (or should I say, letting them 'own' us :rotfl: ) 3 pesky cats! Had to buy Frontline (flea stuff) and dual worming tablets. Keeps them tic free and worm free for three months.

Went to Spar on way home and spent £13  it's so goddamn hot here! I fancied some cool food for dinner, so purchased several packs of par-baked French Sticks, some par-baked Italian Olive Oil Bread and some cheeses, potato salad and coleslaw etc.

Oh yeah, on my way to vets I had to call at Chemist and buy some Mycota powder, for athletes foot condition. Bought some toothpast there that was on special ie: 2 packs of 100ml Colgate Total (+ free toothbrush) for only £1. Also had to buy some of that 'bazzuka that verruca' stuff. Spent just under £7 in chemist

Took me just under 45 minutes to blow just under £50  not good, not good at all! Think I'll go have a lie down whilst I stress about it :A

I spent £2.68 in Aldi on a huge bottle of washing up liquid, some pain aux chocolats, and 2 packs of filled pasta. Also 90p for 2 tubes of Jaffa cakes on offer in the co-op. Oh plus 40p to put an advert up for my slimming club in a shop window, but that doesn't really count as it's business expenses.

I spent 40p on a chunky Kit Kat, 40p on a Twix and 95p on chips because I was in town and totally starving. Grand total of £1.75 :D Mind you, I have less than £2 to do me till Thursday (payday - yay!!!!) and I still have to buy cheest, ham and butter for sandwiches. Thank God I shop at Lidl!!
  • I spent a total of £5.90 yesterday, which was all down the pub! Working all weekend, so I feel I deserve it (oh, and it included dinner!)
It is not the bullet with your name on it, rather the one addressed "to whom it may concern" that should worry you!
