cheers mum :D looking forward to trying those out.

    Oi, I'm not that old:rolleyes:.

I'll type up the pud recipes tomorrow. The bread and butter pudding is really good - I've not made it in ages. I stopped using the combi much as cooking for me, OH, and 4 kids took as long a just using the oven.

Hi Old-Stylers I've had a bit of a search and frankly I'm a bit let down I can't find a surplus of recipes to test in my (fairly) new combi-oven. The ones I could find were for meringues and cakes - which I shouldn't read as that is not why the purchase was made in the first place Anybody got any destructions for proper food?

Is your combi microwave, microwave+grill or microwave+grill+oven?

The Panasonic combi is Excellent-Much smaller overall than a cheaper version, However trying to work out "Combi" ie Oven plus Microwave settings is very complicated and needs Much "Experimentation" to get it right. Hardly ever use my old normal oven now!

  • I do my tattie wedges in a large low pyrex dish 20mins on dual cook. I think that sets the oven at 220C and the micro is at 450W. I also use it for whole chicken, about 30-45mins. In fact I use it all the time, but it's just been trial, with not too much error so far.

I used to have a Sharp Combi which was a doddle to use. I have had the Daewoo for over five years now and only used the micro function as I do not understand how to programme the combi function. The recipe book gives Combi 1 thro' to 5 - Combi 1 is suitable for cakes etc but the micro is set to 60% or less (so is this 'medium' or what), and what degree centigrade or F is Combi 1?

    Confused
