Hi!
Hope someone can point me in the right direction!
My DVD RW has just died and I need to replace it.
Was wondering if anyone could advice me on the best place to buy from.
I'd like to spend under £40 (inc vat and p&p).
I've been told that the NEC ND3520 is the best drive to go for.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Miss boop,
I had already looked at Ebuyer, but wasn't so keen on them charging so much for P&P.
If that is the best option however, not much I can do!0 -
is the 3520 or 3540 better? SVP have an offer on shipping until Wednesday but I dont know which one to get!0

OcUK sell some very good DVD±RW drives at prices very close to those of Ebuyer, with the added bonus of lower postage costs.
Practically anything on this page should suit rather nicely, particularly drives from NEC or Pioneer; they're highly regarded and excellent value for money. I bought a Pioneer DVR-108BK from them a short while ago, and have found it to be a great improvement over the AOpen combo drive it replaced.

The best is actually the LG with DVD RAM facility, this has received numerous excellent reviews. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

NEC 3540, although the NEC 3500 (No longer produced or sold in major volume) is arguably the best model released.0
