http://www.girlsdateforfree.com/ is completely free for you girlies but not for us guys :( I'm 28/m/kent, nice to meet you! lol

If you think about it's probably the best non-free one for males, as they'll be plenty of females on the site and they won't get contacted every five minutes and there's no risk of paying a subscription to send messages when the intended receipitent won't get them due to their own subscription expiring.
  • Just a passing interest (about to become single)...do you tend to find Scottish men on the sites, I always used to struggle online for that!

  • I'm a scottish man! Sorry though since I last posted on this topic I'm kind of off the market ;)

As i said in my last post ( http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=8009729&postcount=20 ), you might want to browse through this one...

  • I found the best free dating website is smooch.com, Its free to join and to mail other members all the time. Unlike some so called free dating sites, you can do alot more then just sign up for free

The trouble with ALL of these sites are you're searching for someone using things like age, height, religion, which is great to narrow it down.

But you don't really know much of anything about them. And sending messages via the dating mail system doesn't work so great as its slow and hard to get an idea of what they're like. I started using Weopia last week along with online dating sites and have to say its work out quite well. The people I choose to meet offline are much better matches now. It used to take at least 5 meets or so before I would find anyone remotely of interest. Now it seems like every 2 or 3 are worthy of a second date. I had just about given up on online dating too!

    Congrats to RavenFire!!

My sympathies. Before I gave up for life,I used to really struggle to find decent men in London.

I think the problem with a lot of dating sites is my personal preference. As I didnt really like older men, balding men etc and liked men with hair who were tall and slim, you didnt seem to see much of them around and about - so joined online and you got the same men you werent interested in on the street (as it were):(
